What people use Mailbind for
Six pages, one per job. If one of them describes your week, it says exactly how the product is arranged for it — and what it does not do.

- Manage multiple email accountsNobody chose to have five email addresses
- Run a shared support inboxA support address with three people behind it needs three things: one queue, a way to say “I have this”, and replies that come from the address rather than from a person
- Keep client inboxes apartAn agency ends up holding mailboxes that belong to other people’s brands
- Several domains, one inboxOwning several domains is cheap; reading their mail is not
- Support in several languagesA multilingual inbox is not a translation problem, it is a triage problem: you cannot decide what to answer first until you know what each message says.
- Always reply from the right addressEveryone with more than one address has done it: a careful reply, sent from the wrong account, to the one person who would notice.
The pattern underneath all six
Every one of these jobs starts from the same fact: one person now has several addresses, and the tools were built when they had one. A provider’s webmail assumes its own mailbox is the only one that matters. A desktop client can show several but cannot share one. Forwarding merges them and loses the sender in the process.
Mailbind takes the plural as the normal case. Mailboxes are connected over IMAP rather than migrated, they appear in one list with one search and one set of rules, and outgoing mail stays separate: a reply leaves from the mailbox that received the message, through that account’s own server.
Which page you want
- Several addresses of your own, and tabs everywhere: manage multiple email accounts.
- support@ or sales@ with two to six people behind it: run a shared support inbox.
- Mailboxes that belong to your clients’ brands: keep client inboxes apart.
- Three brands, two countries, one dead domain: several domains, one inbox.
- A queue with more than one language in it: support in several languages.
- The reply that went out from the wrong account: always reply from the right address.
What these pages will not claim
No numbers about how much time you will save, because we have not measured your week. No customer counts, no case studies with invented names, and no screenshots of inboxes that do not exist. Where a page describes a limit — no tickets, no SLA reporting, no calendar, no Exchange — it is because that limit is real and you should know it before you spend an afternoon.
The pages do contain one repeated piece of advice: connect two mailboxes on the Free plan and work from them for a week. Nothing is migrated, so the trial costs you an afternoon and nothing else.
What they all start from
Three things are true of every arrangement on these pages. Mailbind connects to mailboxes you already own over IMAP and SMTP, so nothing is migrated and nothing is relayed through us. It keeps a synchronised copy so the list and the search are instant, and deletes that copy within thirty days of a mailbox being disconnected. And it sends through each account’s own server, which is why a reply keeps whatever reputation and authentication that domain already had.
The fourth thing, which is less obvious, is that the organising tools run in Mailbind rather than at your provider. A rule, a snooze, a smart folder or a search applies across every connected mailbox at once — including the ones whose provider has no such feature. That is the real reason a unified inbox is worth more than four tabs.
- Connect: presets for eleven providers, MX detection from the address, and four allowed ports.
- Read: one list, threads across accounts, search over everything, offline for recent mail.
- Organise: snooze, rules, smart folders, Needs-reply triage.
- Answer: the sender follows the message, with a signature per address and verified aliases.
And the plans, briefly
- Free: two mailboxes, the unified inbox, threads, search, snooze, rules, smart folders, the offline outbox, three languages.
- Pro, €12 a month flat: unlimited mailboxes and the AI features — summaries, drafts, triage, translation.
- Team, €14 a month per member: shared inboxes, assignment, roles and internal notes, on one invoice.
- No VAT is added to any of them: Mailbind is sold under the French VAT franchise (art. 293 B du CGI).
Common questions
Do I have to pick a use case?
No. They are descriptions of the same product from different angles, written so you can find the one that sounds like your week.
Which plan do these need?
Anything involving a shared mailbox needs Team. Everything else works on Free for two mailboxes, and on Pro for more.
Is any of this specific to a provider?
No. Mailbind connects to any IMAP and SMTP mailbox; the Connect pages give the exact settings for eleven of them.
Who is Mailbind for, by trade?
There are pages for freelancers, agencies, accountants, estate agents, ecommerce support teams and lawyers under /for.
